I like to think a lot.
Sometimes in-between thinking I accidentally get some work done. When that happens it usually involves biology or technology. Or sometimes even biotechnology.
I studied chemical engineering and spanish in undergrad, and I’m currently a Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley.
My current work is focused on developing assays and devices for remote diagnostic purposes, with an emphasis on developing world applications. I am particularly interested in leveraging natural biological mechanisms for engineered molecular solutions.
I’ve also been hijacked and I’ve climbed a really high volcano and I’ve done lots of other questionable things.
